nismo 370z vs 370z sports

which one would you guys pick and why?

Tough choice. I think, had I the money, I would go with the Nismo. The front and rear ends are too too sexy.

I think I would still opt for the Sport. If the Nismo were not 7 inches longer and lighter, I would spring for it.

I wanted at least a shorter car than I have now and the Nismo is about the same length as the RX8.... Not to mention I will not be hitting the track like I thought I would be. Although the Nismo is extremly appealing, I will take a Sport with Nismo suspension, catback, and tune....with some CE28Ns.....

whats the CE28Ns?

The Nismo is kind of nice, but I just don't think the whole car's body comes together. The obnoxious wing doesn't seem right with that nice sleek sleeper front bumper. The rear is pretty ok.

However, I think everyone here will agree that the Sport version comes together as one super sexy piece that everyone can agree on. I agree.

At the end of the day you may be able to upgrade the sport version for some of the nismo components for a fraction of the cost you would pay for the whole thing.

I would take the sport. The mods I want to do are different from what Nismo did.

This, knowing this time you get more than just some new parts (a bump in HP) it makes it a tougher choice, but I think aftermarket is the best way to go still. Though, this is just my opinion.

To be honest, I LOVE what Nismo did for the 370z, but it's just not the same direction I'd like to go with my car. Having a limited production version of any car is nice and all, but I'd rather build the car the way I want it and tailor it to my liking, not buy one premade from a company with what they think I'll like. And plus, I haven't seen the price tag on the Nismo 370z either. :p

i agree completly the sports is amazing. but i love some of the nismo parts( all rear wheels exhaust muffler and seats) the problem is im going to be leasing so i cant fix the car. im going to lease it for 3 years then buy it. so yea ill rather have a car all ready fixed. you get my point i forgot to throw the leasing parts out there.

I'm on the fence about this myself. I'm seriously thinking about the Nismo Z now. My guess is the price maybe about the same as the convertable. I expect the Nismo to be priced right at about $41-$43K (just my guess). I was planning on getting a Touring/Sport which would MSRP at ~$38-$39K. So if I'm right about pricing, the Nismo isn't that much more.

OTOH, a Base/Sport is a screaming deal. From a bang for your buck perspective, it's certainly the way to go.

yea im debating which version z i want to buy myself. because the sport in my nissan dealership was 35 k with all this little add ons which i dont want. i eventually got them to lower the price to 31 500 but i dint get it because i tought ok i lowered the price. almost 4 k if the nismo is 41 k then i could lower it to probably 37.500 k and i can put 1 k down payment and a sienna xle (2004) all paid as down payment i expect to get around 11k or 12 k. im going to lease it do to my dad taxes would be better idk why. lol so thats my plan. hopefully it all works out

I love my sport, by far I think its the better choice you can buy all the upgrades you want with the money you have from difference in price. Also you can get the 350hp the nismo will put out by just flashing the ECU. So save the money difference and do what you want. Oh not to mention the wheels are the sport package are forged.
