The ultimate in one-piece wheels. Forging is the process of forcing a solid billet of aluminum between the forging dies under an extreme amount of pressure. This creates a finished product that is very dense, very strong and therefore can be very light. The costs of tooling, development, equipment, etc., make this type of wheel very exclusive and usually demand a high price in the aftermarket.

oh ok iget what you mean is there any pics of any other forged rims wheels you can send me? i would appreciate it. and price.

Volk Racing Wheels

IMO the Volk TE37 is probably the most recognized forged rim out there

Try using Google. It'll give you links to different retailers. Different retailers will have different prices, so there's no way to tell you how much these cost because it just depends. I will tell you up front, however, that Volks are one of the more expensive brands.

Type in "Volk wheels" for the search term.

You'd need the Nismo exhaust too.

juan. since ur leasing, go for the nismo if the price is right. ur dad's probably not gonna let u start modding, especially if ur only gonna have it for 3 yrs. u remember when i had my old Z, i had all these plans to mod, but only put a system in. trust me u ll be more than happy with the car whether u get the sports or nismo. but if u can get it, get the nismo...especially since ur not gonna mod. it has everything u want--body kit, exhaust and tune. straight! its more exclusive too.

yea i know i dont have any palns of modding just navigation would be nice maybe bose speakers or w.e because the stero kinda sucks lol...im planning to buy it after three years.. ey sahir since you are leasing also are you going to buy after 3 years or get a new z? oh and i hope they put an intercooler in the nismo i been hearing 370z overheat.. i want to bring mine to morroso once i have 1000 miles...

I believe the rims on the Nismo 370z (also made by Rays Engineering) are forged as well. Rims now a days for sport cars are pretty much all forged - just like the Nismo 350z. They just don't advertise it much. E.g. Lexus IS-F, Evo X MR, etc. And i agree with you, you do save a lot money if you're not intending to upgrade anything and you have more choices. But if you take into the account of you starting to mod everything in your car to match what the Nismo comes with (suspension, exhaust, rims, Nismo body kit, seats, etc) you're looking at spending much more than what the Nismo 370z cost. Not to mention you now have an extra set of stock parts which you most likely ain't gonna make much money back on. But I guess if you get the regular sports base model, you won't be locked into a fixed set of configuration and you can choose whatever upgrade brands you want. That's just my opinion.

If money isn't an issue, I personally wouldn't mind going with the regular Z and then buy upgrades here and there and most likely end up with a totally different setup than the Nismo and have more HP than the Nismo would, but then again...that'll be not a wise decision if I only have a $40K budget. You might as well got with the Nismo Z.

Woudlnt buy a Nismo Z, If the price is to close to a corvette im going to buy a corvette. Not a nismo Z. Its a great car but you get the point.

If the price is right then thats a different situation. But i am more than happy with my sport package and do not feel a nismo is necessary for me.

Not that it matters but serveral 350z Nismos was on sale for rather "cheap" I still did not pul the trigger on any, i still would have got a enthusiast trim if i had to.

YEAAA, my friend has the new corvette and got it around $38K....and i personally think it's worth it. It's a much slicker sports car. You get the targa top, bigger trunk space and looks a lot lower than a Z.
