Exhaust leak on OEM Exhaust?

Hey guys, I just purchased a 2010 Nismo and have noticed at first start-up a exhaust noise/leak for about a minute and then it will go away. I can't feel any leaks, but it's hard to get your hands in there. Has anybody seen or heard about an exhaust leak (or relation to) The car has only 5K and I know it is under warranty just want to see if anyone else has this condition? Thanks

what makes you think there is an exhaust leak?

i think i know what you're talking about...when you start it up it sounds like something is rattling/leaking slightly, but after about 30seconds when the RPM's drop, the sound is gone. correct?

thats not an exhaust leak...and i dont know what causes it, but its "normal"

Welcome! Congrats! They all sound like that at initial start up. Part of the cold start cycle.

cold start cam adjustments to warm up the cats for emissions, lasts about 30 seconds or so

Certainly a chance, and I'm not saying this is the issue, that the previous owner had an aftermarket exhaust installed and returned your Z to factory prior to selling. Parts that are not supposed to be reused, but replaced with new, such as bolts, washers, and gaskets, rarely get replaced by the DIYer. Could just be an ill-fitting connection due to the above that seals itself when heated.
