Default Finally Got VIN#

I ordered my Z a while back, and I finally got my VIN# from the dealer. It has been marked in transit for a while (before the unfortunate disater in Japan) and it should be here mid month.

Now I gotta see how long I can control the "aftermarket mods" urge. My wife says I have no self-control. She's probably right as I will probably order the K&N drop ins after I type this. Plus, I already have the Steeda license plate bracket. But that doesn't really count as a mod, though.

congrats. I say go crazy with the aftermarket parts until your wife makes you sleep on the couch or kicks you out of the house.

One thing I am enjoying about the 370Z is inexpensive/easy modding.

Krav, you are obviously an eclectic guy (I mean, Israeli martial arts forum name, Chinese American Jeet Kune Do avatar, and now Japanese Z car says that ). Mix and match your brands. Go with the K&Ns - a Sho Nuff upgrade to a good OEM intake system. Get an exhaust that says "boards don't hit back" like Stillen or F.I. Follow up with a NISMO Titanium shift knob. Your wife will say "Enough!"

I think modding my Mustang was a little cheaper just looking at prices for basic bolt ons. But we will see. Still fighting the urge to drop money on her until I actually have the car. So much going on in my head. Gotta stay off the Forced Induction section definitely!!!!!! I'll be lucky if I can stop at K&N drop-ins and CBE. Note to self: stop looking at UpRev posts...
