Decisions! Decisions!

Debating if I should spend my money towards suspension, wheels, tires and sway bars or get a motorcycle? I was thinking about a 600cc (probably the ninja) or the new GSXR750. Would come out to about the same but idk what ill be happier with. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Motorcycle FTW. Although, be warned - your car will forever feel slow as sh*t. It'll take a good 900 hp in a 370z to match the power-to-weight ratio of a 600cc bike.

I'm wrestling with the same decision. I really miss my bike.

Just sold my modded R1. I miss it too, but I couldn't stop from riding wheelies for miles. Got REAL good at em. Wife said she didn't want to bury me cause she needs my paycheck. :rofl2:

I hear that a lot lol. But I wouldn't really care knowing I have another beast in the garage.

I'd probably kill myself on a 1000cc too

There are certain things you can only do while young. Get the bike. :)

+1, although I'm in my 30's and still have a 600.

And what, you'd only be critically injured on a 600?

41 here and I just sold my the last of my bikes, spares and trailer. I just don't have time to go to the track anymore. I'm thinking about buying a cafe racer project bike. Original street fighter FTW!

Best business model ever!

I think you guys with bikes are crazy. Not because you can't ride, but because most people can't drive. Be careful out there!

OP, I like having transportation options, so despite what I said above, get the bike (and a really good helmet).

That pretty much was the reason that I only had track bikes for the last 10 years.

That's a big part of the reason I don't have a bike right now. I can't count the number of people I've known that have gotten seriously injured because of something stupid something else did.

UNKNOWN_370 04-03-2011 11:16 AM

Dang... bikes are juust a whole different motorsport set altogether. I say go with the bike. Then mod both after the bike...:happydance:

this is definitely what has kept me away from a bike

And jacket, pants, gloves, and boots. And frame sliders.

Id say spend some of it on parts now and save your money for the mv agusta F3 when it comes out this fall. As far as 600s go it will be the best hands down and imo the sexiest. Im planning on selling my D675 this summer to get that if the price stays around 13k which is what theyre planning. Too good to pass up if you like triples.

I bought almost everything when I was ready to buy a bike (Arai helmet, alpinestar gloves....) but then all my friends takled me out of it. That's the reason I got the Z in the first place.
