I would go for a certain type of green. But very few.

I would love a verde ithaca (lambo green), but this would not work on my DD Z. I would get sick of it.

Also, don't know if the Z is exotic enough to handle such a color

If the 40th color was only special order, I would have paid a premium for it. Other than that, The stock colors are pretty nice on their own

That's a bit too bright imo, but I wouldn't want it to be dark like BRG, either. Something in the middle there, like this:

But that's just my opinion.

TypeOne 03-31-2011 03:48 PM

I accepted the color of my car... mainly because of the deal that I got on it.

Wish I had red though.

Jordo! 03-31-2011 03:54 PM

I love the red they used on the Z -- perfect!

I agree a dark blue option would have been nice instead of 17 different shades of grey :icon14:

Gold would have been pretty cool....

Red is what I wanted and got, for well under invoice. I would never pay a premium of any kind for any car for any reason. In my opinion, Nissan has too many dark colors on Z's. Altimas and Maximas. Obviously, I'm in the minority though, as I'm sure they did market studies and produce the most of what will sell the best to maximize profit.

Lemans Sunset

New discussion: what premium would you pay to have this forum in another color?

Hmmm, a dark metallic/satin blue or a matte dark gray color would be cool. As far as cost, it better be less than the cost of getting the car wrapped. If not, I would rather just get the car wrapped :p

I went with solid red for my forum view. And I don't mean the Nissan paint code, I mean solid red.

here's a screen cap of what the forum looks like for me

If it is quality paint, I'd definitely prefer that. Vinyl wrap is still a cheaper look, and it will never have the depth of paint.

Yeah, but that's assuming it's quality paint. I would prefer quality paint too

I would pay any amount for pink. The color of this site kind of pink, but only if its really good quality. I dont want my premium pink to chip off with rocks and whatnot.

No but LeMans blue is a great color. I would get that in a heart beat if it was an option i could pay for.
