Just wanted to let forum members in VA/DC/MD know, if you need a high end clear bra install, drop me a line.
Got the following done today: 3M Ventureshield Full-Kit: Full Hood Fenders Mirrors Bumper Lights Full Warranty The work was exceptional.. Rolled edges on the hood for complete transparency. So long rock chips The work was done by Speed & Technology based out in Herndon, VA owned by R.J. Contact me for his details.. Last edited by sucasa; 03-27-2011 at 12:50 AM. |

Had the same brand on my black Z too. I also had one on my IS350. I have decided NOT to get them anymore I paid $600 for mine and while it keeps most chips off, it is a giant pain in the azz to keep clean, bug guts if not removed immediately discolor the plastic and no matter how careful I was I'd get wax along the edge that was difficult to remove. For $600 you can get a quality respray in 5 years IF you keep the car that long and it really gets chipped up. For $60 you can get a large Dr Colorchip kit that will effectively cover up 95% of the chips you get.
Don't get me wrong, it is a good product I just want to present some other options. |

I don't DD my z06, and I love the clear bra.90% of the chips I could get are avoided. I don't care about cost of this or that. I don't want non oem paint on the car. Simple as that. Clear bras are great. Mess it up? Just wrap is again. If you ever do sell the car you won't have to convince.the buyer that the front end really WAS repainted just due to chips.
