I had a windshield replace by some mobile guys that do it in your driveway. Worked like a charm but they don't use OEM glass. The only negative was the far edges of the windshield had some distortion when you look through it.

They didn't use OEM glass on the 370Z? I'm surprised there is an aftermarket windshield available for the Z.

No, that was for my old Audi A4. Never changed my Z's windshield.

Ah okay. Last I heard they don't have an aftermarket replacement yet. I need to get mine replaced soon, just got ANOTHER nice one right in the middle of my windshield. So much ******* construction. Ugh!

Alberta is bad for windshields i change mine every year, currently i have a crack across my window and about 4 big chips, like quarter size and bigger, but it's winter and the roads are still full of crap, so it will be getting changed in May some time.

so got the windshield replaced w oem glass had to wait 3hrs in total...1 to 1.5hrs for work to replace then 1 to 1.5hrs sitting so sealant can cure, a liability thing so windshield won't pop-out or shift.

Make sure its done right. On almost all cars the windshield is a loadbearing structural component.
