Thats not gonna happen, awd systems are more expensive, heavier, more complicated and harder to service. Not to mention they take away from the driving experience unless you have a really well setup car. Being the more sportsy car of the lineup, I doubt they will do something like that. If it aint broken, dont fix it

Won't happen... And I disagree with the statement that a sports car is always RWD. The Veyron and Lamborghini's are sports cars and they're AWD. (And the Lambos have been AWD since the 90's.
However, A) Nissan won't do it because they need to set a big enough difference between the GTR and the Infinitis. That's not to say that they're not purpose built, but it's true that the Z is sticking to its roots. 6cyl with RWD. B) RWD can be a lot more fun. Not to mention that AWD gets worse economy and is far more expensive and far less reliable. If the Gs come out with AWD, they'll likely use the same power train as always, so you'll just need to swap out the front clip to put AWD in your Z if you really want it.
