I usually just have a bottle of water but no eating.
Food spills + cloth seats = unsightly stains

That is correct. Z is a 1000 miles a year max car I only drive it on sunny days and on weekend dates with the wife... hehe. I have a 10 year old civic and Odyssey that gets cheerios/sippy cups/gold fish from the kid and groceries for the weekend and everything else in between...

I ll pick it up but I wont eat in it, I roll the bag down and put it on the floor mat. Its a lot easier to clean a floor mat than a seat. Unless Im in a rush though if Im going to pick up food I just take another vehicle.

1. live in another country and are probably french so in that case you are a cheese eating surrender monkey 2. stupidly fat im jealous you have the option for In-and-Out. I still would not open it in the car let alone eat in there. Just wait till you get where you are going and focus on driving. |

I have eaten in the Z a couple of times, but its usally not a meal from a fast food joint. Maybe a sandwich form 7-11 or something.

Wow, some of you guys are strict! I generally don't eat in the car unless I'm on a long trip. And if I'm on a long trip I'm probably in the Mazda3 for the MPGs. But I'll transport take out food in the Z, and even smoke an occasional cigar on the way home from the golf course in the Z. Everything airs out pretty quickly.

yeah def no smoking in the car. When i drove down to myrtle beach for a wedding with a buddy, I wouldnt let him smoke even at the times we stopped b/c he would smell of a cigarette. He had to chew those SNUS things so he wouldnt have to spit. And this was in my 8 7 year old 350Z |

I rarely eat fast food so its usually not a problem. I do get pizza like one every week or two and bring it into the Z. I crack the Windows to let out the smell though. The trunk is perfectly sized to fit a large pizza box

As with anything new, I'll probably refrain from it for the first year and maybe next year I'll be more lax.
Today will actually be to first time I try to pick up some groceries in the Z. I just sold my Lancer and the wife has her 328 Xdrive with her all day/night...should be interesting lol.

you guys make me feel nervous everytime i get into that car.
i just hate no matter how careful you are you always drop food and stuff down below the seats and i hate cleaning it out. also the salt and grease goes everywhere. more crap to clean out of the car. I live on a gravel road there is enough dust in/on the car that i have to clean out every week. I dont need more. |
