Another one bites the dust...

well damn it, after looking at the finances for next year and upcoming 4 years i think i'm gonna have to ditch the Z :shakes head: my fiance, soon to be wife will be attending vet. school for 4 years after she finishes her masters degree program. she won't be able to work and i'm stuck with all the bills. i guess in the long run though we'll be better off :ugh2:

sorry to hear that man, im sure you'll be right back in the game after a few years though.

if it makes you feel any better, Yellow should be easy to sell since there are so few of them around.

hansoac 03-21-2011 12:17 PM

aww man :(
I just bought my yellow one..now who is gonna stick up for me when everyone craps on yellow

selling any mods you have put on it!?

USMCASA 03-21-2011 12:22 PM

its stock aside from k&n drop ins and 20% tint. i still think yellow is the best color out there though

All that means is when she gets out of school she's going to have to buy you another one. With a TT kit for interest.:icon17:

if she's making what i think she'll be making i'll probably go for a gtr. my salary is fine for me, including my toys, but not so good for another person with school expenses too.

edit: and you can bet i'm gonna have to find a yellow gtr

Got me scared with your thread title. My gf is studying radiology and is getting her MA. I'm also trying my best to balance the budget. As crazy as it seems, I'm going to force feed my car since it's the biggest project financially and pay it off as fast as possible. After that, it's working hard and settling down. Everything else is easy, but at least [hopefully] I can still enjoy my car.

USMCASA 03-21-2011 01:57 PM

while i can keep the car, i would prefer to have a cushion instead of living paycheck to paycheck. god this is going to suck, this was the car i've wanted for years and worked hard to get it and now after a year and a half i'm going to loose it.

Hope she's worth it.

your fiance can't do any part-time work? i remember my wife (gf a the time) sustained herself with her own money as a TA in graduate school... paid rent food everything on her own while studying.

USMCASA 03-21-2011 02:05 PM

she's swamped as it is now in graduate school and the workload will be more at ncsu vet school to weed out the one's that aren't in it to do good. i wouldn't want to put up the cash for the school and have her flunk out due to a part time job so i'll just have to wait.

hansoac 03-21-2011 02:08 PM

that is what my girlfriend is doing also...paying for herself.
IMO..she better be willing to sacrifice what she loves and stop SHOPPING otherwise :gtfo2:

USMCASA- i see... have her parents help out as well (?). quite a burden you have to carry for their daughter.
