The 350z HR version was not drawing cold air from a vent it is just like the JWT Popcharger in that it draws air from the engine bay.
My Nismo CAI draws cold air from an opening in the grille area of the bumper which has much cleaner and colder air. Hopefully the 370z version would be the same! |

R tune parts are for off-road use and don't come with warranty. I'm pretty sure the intake is a remanded 3rd party like injen. A guy posted a pic of the intake in another thread.

They can't even spell "coming" right, so i wouldn't trust them.

The Stillen Gen 3 doesn't fit the Nismo, so I think your only other option is the Injen SP or AEM (not 100% sure). Those are the only long tube intakes I can think of.

The Injen has some issues with water getting sucked in. Some from running over puddles. The one's that I know of had them installed on a regular Z though. I'm not sure about the Nismo.
Honestly, I would go with some drop-in filters and HPS tubes and call it a day. The stock intake works pretty well compared to short ram intakes. You'll have better gains with exhaust bolt-on's and an UpRev tune.

I had no idea my intake should be involved in stopping power. I'm going to look into a long tube intake from Brembo on the interweb now....
