I haven't tried that yet. I do everything by hand, don't own a Porter Cable or machine polisher. Horror stories from the past. Probably much better now. I also used Zaino Bros. Did 4 coats of their swirl remover before finishing with 2 coats of their finishing polish. Zaino Bros always worked wonders for me in the past and I still have product, so I haven't switched to Adams yet. Might do that soon though.

Hey the colour Black Rosé is awesome, I have a the same colour and I also have a pearl while both 370Z and the black rosé is a sharp colour, do not go and change the car as you will take a big financial hit. Once again I assure you that the black Ross is an awesome colour. Where are you located? I am in Calgary

If you don't remove the swirling in the clear coat, the only thing that wax, or systems like Zaino's can do is fill in those microscratches. Now you're relying on the longevity and durability of the product to keep the paint in a swirl-free condition. Won't last long. Probably better than just hardware store wax alone, but not as good as actually removing the swirls and scratches. You absolutely cannot hurt your car's finish with a Porter Cable and a quality product like Adams or similar. The only way a Porter Cable could possibly damage your car is if you dropped it on it. It simply will not damage your paint in any way. Look at the videos on Adam's website. Or, watch the Junkman's videos on Youtube (AJ is more entertaining than Adam). Also note that a lot of these companies put on detailing clinics around the country. Maybe you can find one close to you. |

Black Cherry Owner
So, on Christmas Eve las tyear I bought a 2012 gun metallic gray Z. LOVED IT.
4 months later it was totalled during a spring snowstorm in Colorado (another driver hit me head on while I was sitting still). I've since replaced it with a 2011 black cherry (15k mi) - same car but with the sports package. Regrettably I didn't have that on the last one. I chose this over the gray because an earlier post nailed it - every Z I see is either black, gray or silver. Sometimes red and sometimes blue. So, I went with the BC because it's different and I think it looks great. BTW, I'm 40, male and have already (in the 2-days I've had it) received numerous compliments on it. Bottom line - who cares what everyone else thinks. It only matters if you like it - it's your ride. |

BC was actually my first choice, but was not available when I needed it, so PW was my second choice.
I just love the color, it's beautiful in any light, special since not many people have it, And my ego is big enough That I never cared what people think, only my opinion matters in things I like. Sent via Tapatalk
