So, what do you all think? Personally, I think the NISMO car is a rip-off in price premium, but I'd like to do the two mods above...

I don't know, but they sure make a lot of sense on the Touring model too.

If you were to try and put together all the parts of the Nismo edition on a base Z, the price would add up real quick. If you take it all into account, it is and will be a very decent bargain.

But I'm sure the bumpers will be available for sale soon.

The only thing that I had wished for was a thicker steering wheel, and a quick touch lane change indicator. ( meaning a quick 1 touch gives you 3 blinks for the lane change instead of having to hold it down, makes a hug difference )

Neither is offered on the NISMO edition, so I am good to go?

I would like the rear bumper, though not sure how well it will line up with the stock side skirts and front bumper. I think the wheels look nice, but I would rather go a different direction.

I would consider the heated and cooled seats. I've only driven one car with cooled seats (Lincoln, of all the cars) and it was fantastic. I'm always on the warm side, especially on longer drives.

You could take care of the heated part of the seat by just passing a loop from your 'new' oil cooler under the seat.

Does anyone think the wiring is already there for the new seats, or would this be too difficult to install (new wiring would need to be installed?)?

Thanks...

Many of the other cars with cooled seats use a fan built into the seat or pipe the AC through the seat. Thus, you're not only removing and replacing seats, but potentially tapping into the vehicle's AC system...could prove challenging.

You're dreaming....Just the bottom cushion for the standard touring seats are $1600+ each. Add to that the back cushions and all the ducting wiring and motors to make that all work and you're probably headed toward $10K..
