Not quite your age at 29 but it wasn't too long ago that I was. Back when I was your age I was paying roughly 200 a month for my old 84 300zx. Insurance for sports cars at a young age is expensive. This will continue until you are in your thirties, just accept it. It bothers me every month to see my girlfriend pay under 150 per month for her 2010 camaro SS while I pay far more my Z. It's just a gender thing that you can't win.
The old saying applies, "you have to pay to play." No point bitching about it. If you really have to sit and see if you can afford it then you probably can't.
