Going to buy my car tomorrow!
Tomorrow I going to go buy my 370Z, it came down to the 370 and the Caymen S.
Both cars seem very similar and it seems like that Porsche emblem would cost me about 30K extra, and I think that the 370 is a better looking car. I am coming out of a 2008 Altima, I have owned a 2003 350Z, and a 2005 350Z. I live in Chicago so I will have a winter car as well. Any advice on options and trim levels? Thanks for any help you might offer. |
touring with sport with nav, thats just my 2 cents. You won't regret it

Get the sport package at least.

My advice is to not go out thinking that you "are buying a car today". If you don't even know the trim level that you are interested in then I would do a little more research before you buy so you are sure that you are getting what you want. Once you nail that down then I would work with a few different dealers to get the best price. Of course its your money to spend...just my 2 cents.

I know I want the 370Z. I have a family member that owns a dealership nearby so I don really need to shop prices around.
I know a lot about the actual car. Just not up to date on my trim levels. For sure live the 19" wheels, and I don't like the interior without the nav. |

Then that settles it...you will need to get the Touring Trim with Sport Package and Nav.

Ok, I am still not even sure on color, it looks so different in every single color they have!
|
My personal faves are the 40th Anniversary Gray, Gun Metallic, and Pearl White.

Oh man, i guess ill be seeing other Zs around here now, I go to school in Buffalo Grove and will be getting mine in at the end of april

OP, just get the version you think you like. All the colors are nice. Base it from what type of 350z you had, then if you feel like upgrading some features, go with the touring + sport + nav. If not, go at least base + sport. For color, either get something similar, but if you got bored from your previous colors, then that means go for brighter ones (if you had darker that is) like yellow, red or blue. I like my 40th, but I'm getting tired of grey. LOL

If you need to have the 19" Rays wheels and the Nav, then you will need to get the Touring + Sport + Nav packages. As far as the color goes, look at all the ones on the lot and see which one you like best. Yeah it's obvious advice, but when it comes to color of the car, it's all you can do.
Also, congrats and welcome to the Z family  |
Skip the nav unless you want to do a backup cam. You must get at least the touring with the heated seats.

I wouldn't be surprised if the dealers stop barging great deals due to the earthquake in Japan. Who knows when they'll be able to ship more here. If they can't get more here soon the dealers know someone will be willing to pay sticker due to rarity.

awesome. congrats!
