Any prior G owners
Hi,
New here. Just wondering if anyone (figure there are probably several) people on here who have owned a G before and sold it for a Z. If so could you please let me know your impression and if there are any regrets. Trying to make the decision myself. As always if this has been discussed before please point me in the right direction. Didnt see anything on search. |

I had 2 G35 coupes before the Z, a 2003 and a 2006. Loved both of them. The Z is a ton of fun and I probably enjoy it more just because the Infiniti dealer here treated us poorly after we spent a bundle on their cars.
Both are great, but if refinement is your preference to brawn, stick with the G. E |

I had a 2007 G35 Coupe 6MT. The G is similar to the Z, but also very different. The G was more refined, yet I thought had a stiffer suspension than my Z. I love the true cockpit feel of the Z though and would make the trade again if I was at that point. I have a second car as a daily so I don't need more than the two seats from the Z. I also like the fact I never see any Z's , yet see a G coupe many times each day.

I had a 2006 G35C and got a 370Z a year ago. I love it but I really miss the back seats!

Yeah, I am planning on having this as a play car not a DD and am planning a build. So I am at the point of build the G or trade and build a Z. Thinking I would enjoy the Z more and after the cost of a build I would probably enjoy the performance upgrades more in a 370Z
