Decision on Color
 

I am excited to say I have my choices narrowed down to three different 370's. While trying to not seem to giddy, I can't wait to have a pair of keys to this beautiful machine in my hand :) Here is the issue, I am indecisive on which color I want. I have it narrowed down to a blue, yellow, or black. What would YOU pick if you were in my situation??:ugh2:

It's all individual taste. Blue and yellow are more eye catching, which means you'll turn more heads, including those of law enforcement officers. But black is hard to keep clean. It shows dirt much more easily.

Yellow! The rarest of the colors for the 370, and probably the easiest to care for in your list.

I think OP wants us to choose only from the 3 colours he's narrowed it down to. If that's the case, and I can't choose red or gun metallic, I'd say go with black...but black is hard to keep clean.

honestly, Z looks like a toy when the colors yellow. You cant go wrong with black. Blue aint bad, but someone people wont like blue

I've got the Magnetic Black and nothing beats it when its clean. But keeping it clean is a royal pain. I love it but I'll never buy a black car again.

i think it comes down to the vibe you want to feel and give off about your car, and also if you can live with that color for the duration of having the car.

imo:
white - clean/pure looking, good summer/day color, somewhat classy, and chicks like looking at white cars.
black - mean/agressive/dark/dont-f0ck-with-me color. looks the best at night with a nice detailing job.
blue/yellow - fun colors but a bit toyish. more for cheaper cars you just want to throw around. my favorite color is blue though, just not on a car except maybe a beemer
silver - no offense but i cannot stand silver on a car anymore. i hate it. everyone and their moms (including mine) has a silver car. if i see a silver car, i immediately turn away. the gunmetal/dark grey color is alright with me though

didn't know they still had 370zs being made in yellow...

I would rather have Blue or Red over my Silver.

I don't think its a typical mustang yellow, from what I heard it is a nicer looking yellow than that. I actually have NOT seen it in person but will be looking at it Saturday.

i have a black car now and it is way hard to keep clean. shows every swirl and what now. but its def my fav and will be gettin my magnetic black 370 in 3 weeks

My Z was black and now my G is black. Ive come to terms with the maintenance that comes with a black car but to me its worth it when its clean and it is after all only a car

Didn't they stop making yellow? Unless you are looking at buying a 09 model.

The Yellow color for the Z only came out on the 2009 models.

The easiest color to keep clean is silver. ;)

My Z was black and it was a total PITA to keep clean and not scratch. If I had to do it again I'd get white or smurf blue.

I originally was looking to get a Blue Z based on the Datona Blue that was sooooo good looking on the 350's. Well the 370's didn't get that. :mad: When I saw it up close it looked like a batch of robin's egg blue gone bad. So I wasn't happy. But I do see how well it looks with black mods. It helps make the blue less flashy and more subtle which I like. But I don't think I could ever see myself driving that light of a blue. I want something darker.

As for yellow, just... no. Leave that for school busses lol :rofl2:

Black is always amazing when done right and kept in the best shape. Now for those of us loving black cars, none of us expected to buy a car with such cheap paint. But that's not 'Black's fault. And if you see a black car that looks like crap, it's not the car's fault, it's not 'black's' fault, its a lazy owner lol. :tup:

Daytona blue...now that would be my first choice if it was available.. Such an awesome vibrant colour.

Silver is still popular, but even then, it makes no sense to offer 3 shades of grey at the same time.

white, black and any shade of the gray rainbow are boring... blue, red and yellow turn heads

If/When I can finally afford a Z, I will be getting a blue Z.

Just read an article that says of the 3 colors listed, black has the best resale value. But, go with the color you like. When the dealer found my Z, I wasn't too concerned with color. I have the blue and I like it a lot. Don't see many blue Z's around, so it kind of makes my Z unique.

Black. there is no other choice.

I'm the type of person that wants something that not very many people are going to be on the road with, so I went with the Monterey Blue. With all of the white, grey, silver and black cars on the road, that MB pops.

There are a handful of 370s in town and I'm the only one with a blue Z, and everyone knows it's me, I like it like that. :happydance:

Well it is official! I am now the proud owner of a 09' Chicane Yellow 370 Sport!! Was offered an amazing deal on it and something about that Yellow was calling my name.:tup:
