Tunnels

Oh my god, i just creamed in the HWY24 tunnel to Walnut Creek.

We don't have tunnels where I'm from... and since I was in a tunnel for the first time ever, I rolled down the windows, slowed down to like 20mph, dropped to 2nd gear, giddied up with excitement, and pulled like a bat out of hell. (Didn't break the speed limit in 2nd gear but sounded like it hahaha).

Any other tunnels/soundtracks that anyone can share? I'm going to go back and do this again. bbl

^I do this on every tunnel and underpass. I love the sound of my BERK CBE. What setup do you have?

I don't know of any tunnel around here. But I could imagine how nice it would be to run threw them wide open. I've seen a couple of bids. I really need to get me a video camera also.

You ALL need to drive the Rogers Pass between Alberta and British Columbia through the Rocky Mountains. There are eight (I believe) snow sheds (tunnels) that protect from landslides and avalanches through the pass. All thru the twistie mountain hwy and beautiful mountains.... trip of a lifetime!

and yes,the Z sounds amazing!

in the foothills of Alberta....

A snow shed in the Rogers Pass (not my pic, but that looks like a white 370Z Roadster...)

We have quite a few here on the Island of Montreal

One of the best being the Ville Marie Tunnel right in the heart of downtown. I haven't gotten to drive my 370 though it yet, but can't wait for spring, and when I get my FI CBE on :) If my Honda Prelude sounded good in there, the 370Z will be orgasmic

There is also another called Louis Lafontaine that goes under water, this one is longer but I rarely take it, but will make it a point to do it more this summer

I like the Lehigh Valley tunnel on the PA Turnpike NE Extension (I476). You are right OP, you can have a blast with the sound without breaking any speed limits!

The one on 75 over by GA Tech, I guess it would be considered a tunnel? I think its on 75 anyway.

Near the Fairfax, VA meeting location for the Mid-Atlantic Z Owners Club, there's a small overpass, and it's very fun to gas it underneath.

Many tunnels in the Hampton Roads area, 6 total, all going under water!
Blasted the $&@# out of the Monitor-Merrimac tunnel on I664 last week!
The sound of my Stillin CBE and Gen3 CAI in a tunnel...one word...epic!!!

My F.I. CBE sounds sweet in all the tunnels, but there is a tunnel in HR that is not under water. It is in the Colonial Parkway. ;)

I love tunnels. Had a friend with a Viper that had straight pipes...that thing was outta control in enclosed spaces.
