I say colour match the wheels or go significantly darker.
Hmm, good point, gun metal would be better.

Looks nice...another trim level being offered instead of a different model. 370z TWIN TURBO or nothing.

The GT is the European equivalent of the 40th Anniversary 370Z that we have in the US.

Sort of but no. It has more sound proofing and the dampers have changed. And there is tire pressure and snow mode

I was going to say I've seen members on here before from Europe who owned 40ths.

The GT seems like a lame trim pack you don't even get much extra. Plus I herd the revisions were done to all 2011 370's. They ate obviously going to make slight improvements to them over the years. Revisions being the dampers, the sound proofing, optional back up camera.

But in the end all they seem to be doing is delaying the release of another TT Z! They have the abilities I don't understand why it's not already done!

Is that a Europlate?! On your uniform?!

All the cool kids rock US plates on their Z's in Europe.

I want a sticker. Anybody know how to order one? I thnk my car with it's mods would qualify as a GT. I'd probably order the GT rear emblem also.

Unlike many exclusive special editions, the GT is far more than just a set of cosmetic tweaks. Nissan’s European engineers have been through it with a fine toothcomb, and tried to smooth over some of the standard 370’s rougher edges.

The suspension and dampers have both been fettled to help improve the bone-shaking ride, but Nissan also claims that the modifications should also help keep the Z planted through faster corners. So have the changes had the desired effect?

We managed to test the GT Edition on the road and at the track, but it’s on public roads, particularly the motorway, that the differences start to become apparent. While the ride is still firm, it jolts and fidgets far less than before, and is much more forgiving over broken surfaces.

Combined with added underfloor insulation that helps reduce the booming rumble of the tyres, the 370Z starts to seem more like a relaxed cruiser than a hard-edged track special, but make no mistake; it’s still a properly uncompromising sports car.

From 370z-uk.net :- ………………

Some of the forum members that subscribe to EVO may have already read this, but the magazine ran a group test this month with some quite interesting results.

They had managed to get hold of a 370GT Edition for the test and although my first thought was that it was out of it's depth in this company, they gave it 4 and half stars out of 5.

They made the usual comments about the interior not being at the same level as the German cars, but were generous in praise for most other aspects.

Not suprisingly they placed the Cayman and the BMW joint first. More surprisingly they placed the 370 3rd and the TTRS last.

The other surprise was when they hot lapped them around their home track the Bedford Autodrome. The times were:

Cayman: 125.5
BMW: 125.9
370z: 127.1
TTRS: 127.3

The previous time they had clocked for a basic 370z was 128.7, so the suspension changes made by the technical team at Cranfield would appear to have improved the car, at least on the track.

They said that the TTRS was hindered by it's (standard) 18'' wheels, which is even more remarkable when you consider the list price for each car and the 'as tested' price.

List price (as tested):

Cayman: £51728 (£61402)
BMW: £40020 (£45340)
370z: £35000 (£35000)
TTRS: £45840 (£52945)

Obviously 53k doesn't get you a set of 19'' wheels for a TTRS!
