Better than the NISMO 350 body kit, IMO. But seriously, Nissan, your recent wheel designs BLOW.

I actually like the front, but the back is too busy for me. The back is still an improvement from the last Nismo Z "Rear valence" bookshelf.

From the Edmunds write-up:
To get that 350-hp rating, Nissan revised the ECM tuning of the VQ37VHR engine and fitted a less restrictive exhaust. The exhaust pipes are laid out in an H configuration for the Nismo 370Z instead of the Y-pipe on the regular Z, and have, of course, been tuned to deliver a deeper sound. The part about the ECM tuning is great, as it means that there are gains to be had from tuning. I'm sure UpRev can do an even better job than whatever Nissan/Autech did as far as a tune goes. I'm really not all that impressed with the hp and torque gains, however, especially not when you have to rev all the way to 7,400 rpm to achieve that peak hp. Bottom line is that as far as hp and torque gains are concerned, there's nothing they've done that can't be done better with parts from other aftermarket suppliers such as Stillen and UpRev. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not trying to knock it as a poor effort or anything like that. I applaud them for actually bumping up the hp on this variant vs. having just suspension and aero upgrades like they did on the 350. I'm just saying that if you're looking to squeeze more hp out of a 370, there are more effective ways to do it than plunking down extra coin for one of these. On the other hand, if you're all about suspension upgrades and chassis rigidity, getting one these might be the way to go.

However, i think they are just adding the "rigidity" figures because the swaysbars and the front strut tower make it more rigid... Nothing we can't do aftermarket. Its a nice lightly modded 370Z for those who want it more focused, but don't want to modify it. I love the front end and sideskirts. If they aren't 302042340250 Yen, my mind is made...unless someone comes out with a decent aftermarket kit. |

I don't see anything about an oil cooler in the write-ups.

Underneath its showy aero bits, the 2009 Nismo 370Z is no less hard-core than the 350Z Nismo. Autech still takes the standard Z-car chassis off the assembly line and welds the seams of the unit body by hand — a labor-intensive process that increases structural rigidity beyond that of a normal, spot-welded unibody. Mass dampers are then fitted between the unibody's left and right frame members to control the extra vibration inherent in a seam-welded chassis.

Until some of the better photochoppers get their hands on it.
Here's my rendition of the new Nismo with a few tweaks. Haha oops at the random white patch in the bottom left

Nice...I'll take one in red please.
The exterior looks good, but it's not really out there, which is both good and bad. I was expecting some type of polarizing bodykit, where you either loved or hated it. This is a great turnkey package right from the factory. The argument will go on and on about how you might as well mod it yourself for better performance. However, without even knowing the pricing, you get lots for your money with the Nismo package, when accounting for all the parts of the package. If I were to get one, I'd be looking for an exhaust, possibly coilovers and that's about it. |

Hmm, I also like the touring package and the suede inserts on the doors. It's all give and take I guess.
It's interesting, how the regular sports package Zs, get the RE050As and the Nismo gets the Advan Sports. Of course, the non-sports package Zs are also equipped with the Advan sports. |

+1
Once again the rear fascia and spoiler is overdone IMO. That alone would be enough to cool me off. (Well that, and the price they'll want for one.)
