Default Amazing road fix in japan after earthquak

Once again the Japanese have shown us why they are simply amazing read the thread below and you be the judge, in my country work like this would take more than a year to complete, let alone that there was a huge natural disaster there. Let's start something where we say how long it will take for work like this to be done in our respective countries or cities, I live in Bahrain and something like this would take over a year to complete

holy ****. if they repaired / build roads like that in the US, we'd be golden...

IM pretty sure that Valdosta GA is still going through road repairs 15 years after it started.

Wow. amazing.

In the USA, it would take 5 days just to schedule everyone for a meeting, and another 3 months to deal with strikes and the Union, and 3 more months for the budget to pass, and 3 more years to actually fix it. Once the road is fixed, we find flaws so we can sue the transporation agency for some money.

It does look like the camera is placed right at the end of the damage in the updated photo, but it also seems to have new black top in that area. I believe they fixed it already though especially if that is a main road. 100 pot holes don't stop us from getting to our jobs so why fix it lol?

I may not remember this story exactly, but I will try my best to make it sound good. A semi crashed underneath a section of I-75 going south towards Bradenton, FL a few years back. They had to rebuild that portion of bridge due to damage. They actually had 24 hour a day work going on for I believe 3-4 weeks to get it done asap. That was the quickest I have ever seen a road repair in my lifetime.

If they repaired a blacktop that quickly including dumping the amount of dirt in there to level the road before retopping, it would be a sinkhole in a year or 2. Not buying it.

Look at the power lines and signs and you’ll see they are shot from the same spot.

nice job. those roads are a lifeline so means more than just fixing potholes for sports cars.
