Z side fender emblem issue

So I'm washing the Z this afternoon, and when my microfiber mitt crosses over the lighted Z emblem on the fender, the damn thing moves/slides around on the fender about an 1/8 to a 1/4 of an inch ........ I'm talking a lot of play here. So I go wiggle the other one and it moves around as well, not quite as much as the drivers side one, but still too much in my opinion. Has anyone else noticed this on their car? I am curious if they all do this, or mine is just not torqued down tight enough.

Z side emblem

my does the same thing I think its by design so when the body flex it does not crack the turn signal

I noticed this too while washing the car. While it doesn't seem like a great thing for it to move around so much, as long as it doesn't pop out, I'm not too concerned about it.

Just figured this out guys......... push the emblem towards the back of the car, while holding it in that position, with a fingernail on the opposite side (3:00 position), pull the emblem out. The whole thing pops out. Apparently this is how it's loaded. Makes is easy to get wax from around the edge etc, as well as replace if it burns out. No need to go in through the fender well. I feel much better now
