Have you owned a 350? Peak torque on the DE was at 3800 where as the 370z is at 5200(I believe). Read all the threads on this forum...many have said the 370 feels lifeless below 3k, where as the 350 did not. But no, I have not compared the torque curves, but having owned a 350 for five years and stepping into a 370 it was very noticeable. I've owned it for over a year now, and every now and then I drive my friends DE, it's definitely feels better below 3k.

The gears on teh 370z are taller, that's partially why it feels less torque down low. Also the throttle response sucks

The 11 Mustang V6 rental I had for work also felt slightly stronger down low to me (even though it weighs more), looking at its stats it has more torque 280 vs 270 and reaches peak at a lower rpm.

Request: Someone please find one car with a stock, naturally aspirated, gasoline V6 that has more low end torque than the Z. And when we find that the Z has the most, let's finally stop complaining about it.
I actually got a survey-

1 question is what do I like the most

I agree the car is quick-feels agile

the 370Z is quicker and handles better than the 350Z on paper

I miss the throttle response from my 350 compared to the 370, its only a very small smidge slower but is nevertheless. I miss the trip computer with digi speedo on the dash, the clock on the dash of the 370z to me is completly pointless, the radio could be made to display the time, my cell phone can to, I dont need a clock on the dash in place where a trip computer/oil pressure/ or if you want to go real old school, put a G meter gauge in it for when your cornering. Individual TPM readout was very nice.

On a sidenote, Im sure some that came from a 350 noticed this, but in my 09 370 the Ebrake handle is the same as the 350 and I had a 2005.

The side mirrors on a 350 are smaller. That is good. I think they put QX 56 side mirrors on mine. They are huge!
