Default BASE - Do windows go up after engine turned off

I think the answer is YES.

However earlier today tried getting windows up after engine switched off and all I heard was a beep with no light indicating what it was and the windows wouldn't go up. Had to re-start the engine to get them up.

Is the answer YES?????

Default BASE - Is there a light that indciates Syncro OFF

Is there a light that should illuminate when the Syncro button is depressed to turn the system off, if so where is the light that illuminates located on or around the dash.

Thanks

I've found the ignition must be 'on' to get the windows up...car doesn't have to be running. As for SRM, the 'S' goes away in the instrument cluster (RPM cluster by the selected gear indicator) when you turn it off.

From the Owners Manual:

The power windows operate when the ignition switch is in the ON
position or for about 45 seconds after the ignition switch is pushed to
the OFF position. If the driver’s or front passenger’s door is opened
during this period of about 45 seconds, power to the windows is
canceled.
