A comeback!
First off I would like to say hello to everyone! I was a member of the 350z forums when I owned my 06' 350z GT Daytona Blue. However, I was hit be a semi when he went left of center and totaled my car
After some insurance work and getting some money back, I am in the market for a new vehicle (a 370z, of course!) I was just looking for some opinions from people on a used 370z I found. For awhile, I was set on leather seats and would not have it any other way. I found an awesome deal on a Yellow 370 Sport with cloth seats. I have now begun convincing myself that leather isn't so important on the Z. Who has cloth and how do they look/feel. I know there has been some other threads talking about seats but I would like opinions for my situation. Thanks and I am excited to hopefully start posting about my new Z on these forums with you all!! |

Welcome over to the forums, you will find many info here that could help you...i'm glad you came out safe from your accident.
about the seats, to each his own. for me i usually go for clothe rather than leather, because when it gets too hot or cold depending on the weather (even if it was seat warmers it takes a while to hear up). good luck on your hunt.

Finding a yellow would make me not care about the interior.

Welcome! I have the touring package that comes with the leather seats. It's really just leather on the outside of the seats and suede in the middle. The better features I like of the touring package are the seat heaters and the bluetooth. I wouldn't let the leather seats be the deciding factor either. Seat heaters and bluetooth are much more useful and if you are find without them, go for the yellow one

Just get the yellow with the cloth seats, and later down the road, if not having leather really bothers you, you can just go to katzkin.com, and order the custom ones (in any colors you want) ofr abour $2k. They are the same as the OEM ones as well.

For me, the touring seats felt a lot more comfortable. I wouldn't get the leather just for the same of having leather, but if they feel better to you, go for it.

Awesome input. That is what I was thinking, not to let the leather seats be a deciding factor on a purchase. I heard you stick better to the cloth ones as well. I didn't even think about buying them later on down the road, that is a good idea also. How does the Yellow look in person? I have only seen Blue and Red in person, this deal I found I have only seen pictures.

If you owned a 350 in cloth seats then I can tell you its much better. The 350 seats just looked dry and faded. The cloth in the 370 looks and feels smoother. Plus the grey stitching is s nice touch.

When I started shopping for my Z I wanted the 6 speed manual trans, but for the price I paid I gladly took the auto trans. No regrets and smiling all the way.

Good, I am excited to see it in person. As far as transmission goes, i am not going to be picky at all. I am more interested on a good deal/ attractive price. I know I will probably get flamed for that statement but IMO, the 350 was manual and the number of times I would just like to put it in drive and go seemed to exceed the number of times I wanted to shift myself.
