Ha!
Whippersnappers thinking their life will be over when they hit 30. I laugh only because I was there, too. I actually thought I'd be dead by the time I was 40! Truth be told, I got married at 30, my wife and I traveled and partied our asses off like some kind of Wild on E!/MTV Spring Break/Lake Havasu party that lasted for 10 years. It was great to have a partner for the journey and a much bigger budget than I would have had in my 20's. I party slightly less hard only because my career has taken a new direction and now when I get on a plane, it's for work. To compensate for that, we've turned our home into a party pad and our friends come to us. We skipped the whole kids thing. Honest self-evaluation determined that we are the kids in this family. Don't wish your life away. You can't get the time back. A plan is good to have... to a point. Just be prepared for life to happen and be ready to change course when it happens!

Of mice and men of course, but the last decade played out to the letter for me. What's wrong with dreaming that the next 3 will? |

Let's say you earned $35000, the first $34000 would be taxed at 15%, the last $1000 would be taxed at 25%. Sure, you getting 10% less out of the extra work that puts you over but it's not like your ever going to lose money by working more. Tax brackets explained Tax rate calculator
