Just want to put this out there and hopefully the results can be forwarded to Nissan. Even If you were going to get the Leaf, please check Question three. How much does price play in to the purchase decision for you?

Intriguing poll. I don't have an answer, because I wouldn't buy a hybrid currently, but if the tech advances, or if our gas-based options disappear in the next decade, my opinion might change.
I want a light, powerful sports car that is nimble in turns. How it delivers that performance is secondary, but at current, hybrids don't deliver the goods for reasonable cost. |

If it performs well has a stick and does not weigh as much as a Camaro then yea.

Also, Electric isn't a type of Hybrid.

Just nit-picking since the topic says "Hybrid". I'm really bored at work.

Almost totally depends on it's ability to perform (acceleration, handling, etc). W/o that data, can't make an informed decision.

Like it or not: The combustible engine as we know it is doomed!
