I gave up my RX-8 because I couldn't stand a 9000 RPM redline. All my friends with their 6000 RPM redlines would tease me terribly, telling me to go commit suicide doors.

The VQ is pretty coarse at high RPM's regardless of what oil is in it, at least in my experience. It is nowhere near as smooth as any other performance engine out there.

![]() ![]() ![]() I wanted a C6 ZO6 real bad when they first came out. Than I worked at that shop and while yes, the LS7 is a bad ass motor, it lacked a lot inside and in quality. It's nice to have unGodly amounts of power but to drive it everyday would suck.
