911 is a different breed. The 993 looks great and is an air cooled classic. The 996 is kind of bland and not very popular. The 997 looks better. And 2012 introduces a new Carrera. The car has 40+ years of history so it's an icon.
As for a Ferrari sure - I would rather been seen in a 370Z then a 308. But I'll drive a 70's daytona or even the F430. It depends on the model. I would like to see Nissan review all of the common gripes about the Z and fix them. Why not? Even if it breaks even or has no profit. It's about image and it gets people into the dealer so they can drive home that shiny new minivan with the kids. Personally, I'll pay 50K for a Z. But I want a Twin Turbo 450 hp car with DSG. (Or what ever Nissan calls that type of transmission.) |

I loved my 280Z and hated the added weight and lowered power of the 280ZX. I just hope that their is no 370ZX. If I missed or added a year of production I apologize.

You should send your concerns to Nissan usa. I'm sure they'll listen to your concern and get to redesigning the Z right away! Here's their email address: nissandonotcare@nisssanusa.com |
