you are going to have a tough time getting a good test drive in this weather with the z

1 - I wouldnt list winter as a reason to not get the Z. I live in NY and have driven the car every day this winter even with the crazy amount of snow we have gotten, granted snow tires are a must. Besides, if its city driving you are doing odds are you arent traveling far, NYC is relatively flat, and theres always public transportation on really bad days. Only deterrant might be that winter will take a toll on the exterior of the car.

2- For 30k Id prefer to get a new base + sports package rather than touring just for a navi system. +1 on contacting Koeppel Nissan.

Good luck!

Then i guess its down to a drivers feel of each car, time to schedule some test drives from both companys.

I noticed that on the Z's for bolt on's it dosent give hudge gains unless FI, is the Z expensive to mod as well?

Like everything, it's all relative. Comparatively, the Z is pricey to mod. Relative to other, nicer cars, it's pretty cheap. The lack of an established aftermarket, and the fact that it is a fairly maxed out motor limit the modification options.

I have to test drive these cars, i already scheduled one for Monday for the 370z and Evo, hopefully the way they drive will determine my decision.

Anything i should be looking out for when test driving?
I know for the evo it is noisy cabin and clutch slip.

Big honkin' blind spots. The ones on the side of the car are fixed by flaring your mirrors out. But the one that gets me is where the B-pillar and p-side seat headrest are. Makes it tough to back out of a driveway, parking spot, etc. Good luck with your test drives!
