Still, the C5's and some of the older C6's are very popular with college-age people. |

Seeing the number of people who keep spinning out and getting into accidents as soon as VDC is off, do we really need Nissan to add more power to the Z?

It'd be a scary thought if most people here switched to Vipers. Those cars make twice the hp and tq of the Z, and they have no form of traction control whatsoever

Very true. A Viper will force you to grow up fast or it will kill you.

Vipers are easy cars to mess up in. I have to admit, the fact that I realize I am not God's gift is why I went with a Z06 instead. They have a few nannies.

I say keep the motor and HP on standard models were they are. But make a Nismo built with Turbos! yeah it cost more but then Nissan could really say, see we have a performance model. I would buy it!

I've had my car for a year and the VDC has not been off once, and it kicks in on a very regular basis, the car is allowed to get just a bit sideways. With the financial responsibility of supporting a family of 5, it's not worth the risk of a bent $40k car, and I've bent a couple over the years by driving too aggressivley (admittedly when it's very cold and there is black ice). I used to drive my Camaro sideways all the time, but it just wasn't that big a deal if I smashed it.
