black rims!!!

I had black wheels on my 350 for a while- I added a vinyl stripe (first red, then silver) to differentiate the wheel from the tire. It's kinda weird- a lot of the times going to a black rim will make the car seem like it has one size smaller wheel because the lip gets lost near the tire. 19s will look like 18s, 18s like 17s, etc.

just an example so you can see what im talking about- i think the stripe really helps make the black wheels "pop".

Yeah the thin stripe helps to separate wheel from tire and looks awesome while spinning. Nice drop and stance, btw.

I'm a polished/silver rim wheel type, myself (though the gunmetal 40th rims are pretty awesome, too ).

I'm with djpath: this looks good. I wasn't a fan of the 350Z styling (went with the G35 for two years instead). But what you did here makes me eat my words. Nice work!
