My reason was basic. I like Vettes, but the Z was much cheaper. I tested a Camaro, but the cheap PoS fell apart during the test drive. I've never been a huge fan of Mustangs. I tested the WRX and GenCoupe against the Z as well, and it was simply the best for my needs and desires.

Cheaper than than alot. Other muscle cars i dont think are as good looking and the 370z's are comparable to speed for the most part. I think the wrx's are ugly...

I dislike american cars, vette was out of my price range. WRX was my second choice, but for 30k you get a 5spd, no one touch up windows, no vanity lights (stupid things like that bother me) I have always been a Nissan fan so the Z was a natural choice.

370z is the affordable dream car. Porsche-like look.

vette's are american...dont like em' . Everytime i see one of them on the road its like an old lady driving it.

I like camaros better in the 90s
mustangs i dont like

I wasn't a fan of the 350 Z but I liked the history/prestige of the car/community. Then when I saw pics of the 370, I fell in love with it. Saw one in person, and hit rock bottom. Had to have one. As far as other cars go:

Reasons Against Purchase:

Mustang: American, there are as many of them on the streets here as people on a Chinese streetcorner waiting for a signal to change. Boring interior. Some exterior dislikes.

Corvette: American, expensive, 'status' car.

Any Dodge: Dodge, FUgly. :gtfo:

Subie: Was my original purchase goal until I saw the 370. But I'm not a fan of the newer body styles... I want one 03-06.

Mazda: Radial engine is just way too complicated to have as much fun with.

Default choice

2010 370z roadster, touring, white with gray interior, 1650 miles on car. price is 36000.00.

or

2009 vette LT2, has heated seats not cooled (z has heated and cooled) insurance is cheaper on vette (which surprised me) vette has v8.
cost of vette 42000.00

i just think the z car is better deal and better for everything, more fun to drive. even though the vette will fly, in fact when i punched it, it scared me.

what do you all think of the white z and the gray interior?

Where do I start? My dad owned a 72 240. So I had history there. Plus I'll never forget when the 300ZX came out. Really loved it. Then I learned more about the history of the car and the man behind it. Plus I was always into imports. There's no doubt they are more reliable. Then the handling and power it has stock. Then don't get me started on the mods for this car.

In 2002 when I first started seeing the 350z in magazines, I knew I wanted one. I never test drove any other car. Once I found the exact 350 I wanted, it was mine. Same thing with the 370z. I had the 350 for several years and no other car interested me. Again, never test drove anything else.

Straight line the vette would win. On the track not sure...

But you cant compare a Z to a Vette, not the same class.

Been there done that with the corvette. the c5 was a huge improvement over
the other models.....

i had a 05 roadster and it was a decent car no issues.. it some ways it was better built than the c5....

it's been said a thousand times here but for the money i got a 09 base with sports package it's hard to beat it.

it always turns heads as you guys no. plus i think the styling with age well...
