Default Sport Horn Upgrade

On another blog I saw that Japanparts.com - Mail order from Japan directly|JDM Parts,Performance Auto Parts, for Subaru, Mazda,Mitsubishi,Honda,Nissan,Toyota car has a 'sport horn' option. It's a set of two new horns for the car. Given that the stock horn has no balls at all, I'm tempted to order the sport version. The price is right too...$88 with shipping included to the USA.

Anyone tried this yet? I'm curious to know how hard it is to install and how it sounds. Suppose I should find the horn on the car and see how tough it looks to swap out before ordering...

The horn sits in front of the radiator behind the front fascia (aka bumper cover). I know this because it has to be bent back in order to install one of the filters for the Stillen G3 air intake. So in order to access it, be prepared to remove the radiator cover and pull of the entire front bumper cover.

Sounds like a good reason to 1) not upgrade, 2) stop using the stock horn and 3) use engine and exhaust noise to alert other drivers of my presence

I've installed Hella air horns on all my cars and planned on doing the same on my Z. That may be an option for you!

I found the link to the service manual in another forum...that makes this a bit more feasible for me.
