Seriously?

Anyone want to sponsor me for a trip to the moon? I'd be happy to use your space shuttle and will give it back afterwards.

I'll give you a 40% discount on a rocket, but you have to fly it to the moon 3 times a year and I want you to be at the Space show on Mars on the 19th of the month.

Sweet. But I need at least 4 large busted female companions to help with daily rocket chores, and I'm not putting any mustang sponsor stickers on the side of the fuselage...

:icon18: Done.

@OP, you might think we are just being ******** but this is really how "sponsorships" work. You get discounts on parts and are required to plaster ugly decals all over your car and do everything they ask you to do... go to every show... show up for special events... etc. You really don't want that kind of burden because you were too cheap to buy the parts outright yourself.

If you can afford it, buy it yourself. If you can't, just enjoy what you already have.

OP, this is not the way to go about getting sponsored and you're just going to get flamed for posting it here.

There are several different levels of sponsorship which range from partial discounts to free parts that you would need to promote.

Contact vendors here on the forum or in your area and start a dialogue by networking and doing some legwork, no one will just hand over parts without you doing anything :icon17:

Oh wait did someone say free parts? I want some too.
