Not at 35 F. There isn't anything in gasoline that will freeze at said temperature so freezing can't be considered as a possible cause.

Temp might have dropped down a few degrees lower. It's fairly common for actual temps to drop a few degrees lower than predicted.

could be a weak battery too. sometimes it can't produce enough juice to fire the spark plugs despite turning the starter. nissan batteries (at least in frontiers) are notorious for being pretty crappy and needing replacement. i'd call the dealership and ask them to look into it

battery or fuel. My Z routinely starts immediately in 0F weather.

well i go start it up and the auto start is just cranking. half asleep i realize its been cranking for a good 5-10 seconds and let off the clutch. odd...so i shut off the ignition and start it up again...it cranks for another 5-10 seconds without starting! what the hell? i try it one more time, and no start. im cold and fed up at this point, so i just let go of the ebrake, let the car roll back and pop the clutch and give it some gas, and it starts right up. i really didnt think id have to "push start" the damn car this early into ownership!

with that said...has anyone had this happen to them? those in the colder states? should i bring this to the dealer if it continues to happen?
This used to happen to me all the time in my 350z. I figured it was the fuel pump.

When it does that. LEt it sit for 10 seconds...pump the gas 3 times and then give it a try again. This should continue with the flow of gas to feed the motor.

GOOD LUCK!
