Initially, I too had no intention of modifying my car. I bought the sports package knowing that forged wheels won't be upgraded for my needs. So I was done right? Not so fast: Then the cars oil kept getting too hot so just an oil cooler (an oversight from Nissan) that doesn't show. Then the drone of the exhaust. I can fix that. Then sways to correct the under steer. Well if I'm doing all this why not get coil overs to address a couple other issues such as getting on the gas earlier without losing the rear end coming out of a turn. CAI's were free as a bonus with the above items from Stillen. Next week I hope to have those installed. The rear camera is so low on my priority list I keep not doing it.
I think I'll have it all after this, so a tune is in my future. I would like to say I am nearing completion, but once you lose your mind who is to say what you'll do next.

I think that its ridiculous to say that the way the designers built the car is the way the car "should" be. Car designers build their cars the way they do for many reasons, mainly marketing. That is why there are different levels of trim.
Also to say that the way the car designed visually is "ideal" is nonsense who its to say that the way I like my car to look is "ruining" it? It is all a matter of taste and opinion, which is what this forum is mostly about. |

Just got in touch with my tuner guy and set up an install on a Tanabe cat back. Took this long only because of all the snow we had here in central Jersey.
No virgins here in this maternety ward either. |

i like the car the way it is.
for the money that would be used to modify it, i would rather spend that money to get a more expensive car. Last edited by mick; 02-12-2011 at 10:00 PM. |

This is what is so great about the 370Z. There are so few of them out there( not like Mustangs, Camoros Chargers etc...) , that all of us who own one just like to put a furthur stamp of uniqueness on the car by either leaving it the way Nissan engineers designed it, or improving on greatness. Either way it's an awesome car and all of you, us, have a great time with it, however way you like it!
