40th or convertible

So its winter here in Boston and my Z is in storage for at least another two months, BUT for some reason this random idea just came into my head.

Default 40th or convertible

So its winter here in Boston and my Z is in storage for at least another two months, BUT for some reason this random idea just came into my head. Would a brand new 370z convertible be better ( in my circumstances since i drive the Z only 6 months a year) over my 2010 40th model? I feel like convertibles are definitely more fun however the coupes tend to look better than the convertible tops. Am i going crazy or should i look into this??? I wouldnt mind driving a brand new 2011 convertible this summer up here in New England however I love my 40th, errghhh i hate winter!

Well, imo the coupe looks better, and I'm sure there's a slight performance advantage to owning the coupe. Um, the 40th is gorgeous.

That said, Roadsters are hella fun, and driving around with the top down is quite an experience.

I don't know what to tell you, though. I'd save the money and drive the 40th, but that's just my take.

I would definitely keep the 40th. Just open the windows and floor it when you want it to feel like a convertible

when you take the z out of storage, you'll drive it and you'll be happy.... all impulsive decisions to trade it for a different type of Z will vanish instantly.

I'm pretty sure you can drive your Z for about 8 months in the year....
(I store mine from Dec. to Mar., so I can drive from Apr. to Nov.)

Roadsters are fun, but if you want to take any longer trips, you'll love your coupe...

/Disclaimer, both cars are great! No vs. thread....

Keep the 40th, the roadster is cool but your 40th is better

Since you already have the car just keep the 40th. The idea of a roadster is very fun, though.

Whoa ... lotsa hate for the 'vert .

If you had neither, I'd say seriously consider the roadster. But it's not worth the hit of your trade-in to trade your 40th for one. The 40th is the second best looking Z after the roadster so console yourself with that fact
