In a realistic conservative car buyer world, your car with the mods is still worth the KBB value. You're very unlikely to find a buyer who is going to swallow the cost of parts you've put into the car. Even finding a buyer who wants a modded Z is going to be a challenge. So your options are to sell as-is for KBB (and perhaps be able to stand more firmly with your price given the mods) or take the parts off, go back to stock and sell the car and parts separately.

I believe those mod figures are a bit on the high side. Many of them, such as the HFCs, camber kit, etc (ie, stuff "under the hood") will not add any value to the car.
The wheels, exhaust, things like that which are more "visible" to the buyer will help toward you directly recouping the value of those mods. It really is in your best interest to part the car out, even if you need to take the parts off yourself. IMO, the amount you spend in labor, if you intend to go that route, will still be less than you will recoup from the sale of those mods individually vs having them installed when you sell the car. last little note: people like the idea of buying a car that's "unmodified" a lot of the time. Seeing that the car has been tinkered with actually goes against your favor with the majority of buyers. beautiful car, btw ![]() |

You might get as high as $31k as is, but not much more. Here are some completed auctions, only a few sold.

Sad your going to sell. When I bought this Z (my second) my plans are to keep this one for the rest of my life. I always wanted to hold on to a car and keep it. I think this will be a great one to do that with. So I hope nothing bad happens to it.

thanks guys for ur great inputs. im still debating to sell my car or not. however, as a matter of fact, im parting out my car to cover some cost. i took off my body kit today. ready to sell, more coming, HFC, HKS, etc. so definitely hit me up if u interested, btw, most my parts are VERY new, specially the "footware" my coil, camber arm kit (front and rear), wheel(waited 4 months just got it in jan, putted on in Feb), V12 tires are ALL UNDER 200miles. BRAND NEW, my frd calvin (the amuse kit in the pic) can prove it. so do hesitate to pm make a offer for my parts.
thank you all |
