is a great car and less d-bags will buy it |
I still have people ask me what kind of car I'm driving. And what a beauty it is. Yesterday was "well what happened to the 360 after the 350Z?" I just told him that naming a car the 360 might make it seem like it spins out alot. :icon17: He accepted the answer.

as far as i can remember, this car never really got that much attention to begin with, except the general disapproval of the fangs when it first came out.

Didn't think of the 2+2 difference. My father has a TTS roadster (no back seat), so it seemed more akin to the Z. But the coupe probably does have the midget back seats.
If the FT-86 comes in under 3,000 lbs and has the STI 300hp motor...goodnight 370Z. There is even talk of an inline 6-cyl. Definitely has my attention. |

I am kind of disappointed it doesn't receive more press. It is a competitive car in its category and some of the cars that it competes with still get thrown into regular comparisons to this day.

Personally, I dont think the ft86 is going to outperform the 370z. the suspension design is going to be macpherson front(inferior to double wishbone) and for the price i think it targets mostly the 2.0t genesis market, which means it will have less power.

The design of the FT-86s doors was actually subcontracted out to Mazda. Simply put the 370Z can no longer compete in the market and therefore production should be stopped.
