Default splash guards or no splash guards

Just picked up my new 370, PG base with sport package. It came with the splash guards. What's everyones opinion on them. I kinda like the clean look. I need to take them off now before they rub a line in the paint, if I am going splashless. Thanks.

Thumbs up

Keep 'em on. They are taped, drilled, and screwed in place.

If you like the 'clean look', like SoCal says, "Do it!".

Personally, I think they look nice, so I would keep them on.

But whatever you do with your splash guards, make sure you **** all other cars on the road whenever you can, please.

Now there's some info I can use, thanks! I was not aware they were taped. On the '06 they were just screwed.

I have them, they are smaller at least than what was on the 350 and blend in better. Might as well keep them on, they will protect your sides from rock chips.

They were on my car when I purchased it. I didn't even notice them. I like the look and the protection.

They are hideous looking. I've seen them in person side by side with a car that didn't have them. I realize it's a matter of personal taste. Nissan made them a "mandatory option" when my car was ordered so unfortunately it will have them on when it comes in (April - May).
All I wanted was a base, 6 speed with sport package.
None of the poser junk.
They are out here, I've seen them - but Nissan would not build the car that way when the order was entered in early February.
I went as far as contacting Nissan via email about this beforehand. They responded that they would build the car but when the order was entered it was denied repeatedly until the goober flaps were ordered. Another case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.
Ridiculous IMO.
I already told the dealer to remove them when the car comes in - hopefully before I get to see it.

LOL, I think I will be leaving them on. The rear ones are taped all along the length of the guard to the edge of the bumper. If I did remove them, there is a chance the tape has cured well, and I might have paint issues there. I do like the look of the car better I think without them, very clean look ...... but they did a lot better job with these compared to the ones on the 350....... these are sleeker and a lower profile, which I do like.
