No matter what we have, the next model usually is bigger badder and faster. I knew that the day I bought my Z. Whats more I don't care. I'm totally thrilled with it and if the next model comes out with a 500hp supercharged twin turbo enema injected motor, well so what. I got my dream Z, I gave the mods I wanted and I'm as happy as an older guy in a Z, oh wait,... I am an older guy in a Z.( 54 and I hope I die before I grow up!)

I don't understand why so many are worrried about the next Z. Some haven't even fully enjoyed what they have now. And the way the government, EPA, and gas prices are going makes you wonder what really is in store for us. Better hold on to what you got like a classic. Might not get a better car one day.

I dont see him saying "I hope they never do" And I agree they should wait. Companies shouldnt keep making changes every year. Its bad for business, it drives up costs, and that impacts us by making all cars more expensive. |

Also, it's been stated the technology is more or less already there and would be rather easily implemented. The additional costs would be rather minimal to incorporate DI. If anything the 370z has had remarkably LITTLE changes to it year over year so far. It's quite due for one. Besides, sales for the 370z are relatively low... So low to the point where it's getting into discontinuation territory. It didn't sell nearly as well as the 350z. It's time for a rather BIG change to hopefully spark renewed interest, and keep this great car selling. Something needs to be done.... Doing nothing for yet another year will lead to even less sales next year in my opinion. Last edited by Decoy_TT; 03-03-2011 at 03:12 PM. |
