Holes in Front Bumper? Question about License Plate Holder
Does Nissan's front license plate holder require drilling into the front bumper? Anyone know for sure, or anyone taken delivery without the front bumper holder installed?

How else would it be held in without drilling holes? Tell the dealer not to do it and if they do you want a new car/bumper.

With the plate on or when you take the holder and plate off?

If you have the holder installed and take it off, there will be holes in the bumper cover that are plainly visible. (I think that's what you're asking.)

I specifically asked my dealer not to install the license bracket. It's the only way not to have holes on it. |
^^ told em the same thing
i know its a bad call specially in socal..... :( |
north bay nissan never has drilled holes in any of my z's and im way north cali.
Infact they would probably tell me to do it my self hehe. |
Mine already had them on when I test drove the car since in VA it's required.
I wanted to place smoked covers over the front and back but not sure if it will be ok to take off the bracket and just put the plates with the smoked covers on it. Anyone done this? |
Turns out there are only 17 states that DON'T require the front plate...a fact I learned when I was disgusted with the idea of putting a front plate on my car. My Z had them drilled when I got it, but they are not very noticeable as the holes are in the grill plastic and not drilled into the painted bumper.
