Disagree.
Even with EV and alternative fuel powered cars, there will be gear heads and people that modify them. It is going to be a different generation of tuners and people that do it... led more by scientists and engineers than normal people wanting to just go fast. I welcome the change to that stuff because, hey, things are always going to change no matter what. One day, our 370Zs will all be old and the replacement (if it is going to exists) may just come in some form of Hybrid. Gasoline doesn't always have to be the only source of fun for cars... |

Typeone, it was mainly directed about the loss of sound which is disappointing. Would you not agree? Of course they will still be fun. But the whole experience will be lacking to some extent. Argue your point on the site that's what it's for

Typeone- The op is just reflecting on the nostalgia the petrol car and how they need to make way for the new EV. I think the EV car will actually make more room petrolheads to have fun by keeping the DD's more economical and bringing out the gas hogs for more spirited drives.
One thing that was striking about the artical was the menton of the smell factor. That really strikes a chord with me. When I had my '72 240z it had a lot of disticnt smells in it. One of the distinct smells was the lead additive that I had to add to the unleaded fuel. |

hahaha, I'm gonna get a head start and begin manufacturing exhaust pipes that contain speakers capable of replicating any vehicle sound. "Maybe today i'll go with the '84 jetta"
