Fuel Range Display

On my way back home from the dealer, which is about 75miles on I-8, and on a fill tank of gas, i noticed the Fuel Range going from 340, to 360, to 330, and now that i have been driving around town a couple days its been at 320 DTE. Is this something to worry about, or is it just the computer programing itself i guess cuz it's it 1st tank of gas?

Nothing to worry about. The computer calculates how much fuel you have left with how the car is being driven. So in the highway driving at a stable 70mph at say...3k rpm, it will say something different to when driving in town with shifting, accelerating and braking. I pretty much says something like this, "hey buddy, if you keep driving like this, your tank will last "THIS" long". Catch my drift?:ughdance:

AndreZ is correct. It's simply calculating how many miles you can drive at that exact pace until the tank is empty. Once you get below the half mark, you will start to see this number change quite a bit with city and freeway driving.

The longer you drive without reseting your average MPG, the less often that reading will fluctuate.

Yes, this is the case, but how accurate is it if you don't reset at every fill up?

Pretty accurate, actually. The more it averages the MPG, the better it's accustomed to your driving habits. If your driving habits over the past month of driving shows you get 20MPG, then it's more likely that 20MPG will reflect your every day driving habits over the course of the full gas tank.
