Keeping the battery charged

I am not driving the car this winter. What is the best piece of equipment to keep the battery charged? Is any trickle charger ok to use?

Battery Tender Plus ftw. Don't buy a traditional trickle charger but get a smart charger such as the Battery Tender type.

Trickle charger is good, but I like to take the car out on a clear cold day an listen to her exhaust notes for few hours...

battery tender and trickle chargers are two very different things...

i rather spend the time in my music room than end up cleaning salt off the car for several hours afterwards. :D

Battery tenders work fine but i still like driving a car that's meant to be on the road.:bowrofl:
