Not Oil Temp Again

OP. Within operating temps is the goal, regardless of ambient temp. Get the oil cooler and stop writing/worrying about the subject.

The delta temp between your oil and ambient is 150-160deg F. Just fine.

My range (we probably should be quoting differences in temp between oil and ambient instead of absolutes) is 140-160deg F., depending on driving conditions. While I seldom break 230deg here in SoCal, a 100deg day come summer may get me a little apprehensive...

195-200 F is perfect. You do not need an oil cooler.

No offense but that's a perfect oil temparature. These new engines likes to run slightly hotter. 200 on 50 degree weather and up to 220 on 70-80 degree weather is perfectly fine. If you're getting 260-270, then you need to think about oil coolers and such.

Oil is performing just fine at 195-200*F. It's not a problem. 180-210 is a good window for the optimal operating temp for oil.

I know you don't drive a porsche, but oil is oil and rings are rings and bearings are bearings for the most part.
