In the winter I just leave it in my jacket pocket since Sync will read my text messages to me and I can send them through the car, but otherwise I put my phone in the cup holder.

Right next to the hand brake as it fits there perfectly with the iPhone cable attached and streaming my music..

I have the first gen Droid. Same size as an iPhone 4. It typically sits in the cupholder, or in the cubby, since I don't have a navi system. I once put it on the steering column, tucked under the gauge cluster, and it stays there. . . well, until I either: 1) turn too fast, or 2) get annoyed by the blinking LED notification light.

since i have the base i'm trying to come with maybe a phone mount of some kind inside where the nav would be. since i have a jvc bluetooth unit i really
don't have a need to pickup or grab for my iphone. but i would need to run the usb cable from the back of my unit up into the compartment.and then plug it into the phone for charging and playing music........ any ideas??? |

I got a bluetooth pay as you go phone, and keep it anywhere inside the car. I just need to turn on the phone and it pairs to the steering wheel. My gal always uses the cup holder for her stuff.
I saw a rear view mirror that has a blue tooth in it. Look for it here at the370z.com as a post.
