Depends on the 16 year old. For many, it's a bad decision. For some, it's not a problem.

Did anyone notice his profile says he drives a Porsche Carrera S? So you drive your dad's car? And he lets you?

I already have my first car in a way... its a leased Honda Civic Sedan but by the time im 16 the lease will be up in about a year so ive just been looking at other cars for the hell of it and the 370z has always been my favorite. Are there any mods to make the front headlights on the 350z look different? I think the back looks fine but the front.......

I know your new. But there is a search function here with hundreds of things to see. Start using it and you'll spend weeks learning about this car. Don't take that as being rude.

I was one of the youngest members here. My parents bought the 370Z for themselves, but I drive it much more than they do. It's effectively my car. I love cars, and I always try to deal them their proper respect, and haven't gotten into any trouble (no tickets etc.) except for recently in the snow (which, depending on where you live, can garage your Z for up to six months).
Personally, the Z is a lot to control, I won't lie. I also think that a 370Z is too much for any beginning driver. I'd actually go with an Impreza or a 350Z as a first car that's still a lot of power but much safer (and significantly cheaper). I might sound like a hypocrite, but I stand behind what I say.

His leased is over and he is barely 16 yrs old. Most states you don't even get a Learning Driving Permit until you are in 11 or 12 grade, plus driving school is required. Here in VA you don't drive along until you are like 17 yrs old with a city curfew plus the parent has to go in front of a judge to get the License once he/she passes all the tests.

I suggest a 1988 honda civic. I love that car when I got to test drive it. It is so slow, no way you can get into an accident. Because it is so slow, it is actually fun.

The perfect car for a 16 year old is any car that 16 year old saved up for and purchased with his/her own money.

Seems like your parents have money to spend, hope they won't regret their decision. 370z is a lot of RWD for a newbie driver. Good luck to you and your future 370z, treasure it, don't be an ***, you'll be ok !!
